Yeah. My son named Adam. He was born on 1st December 2013 at 6:53AM. Despite having to wait 53 long dramatic hours due to some delivery complications that my wife has endured, everything has gone very smoothly and beautiful. Alhamdulillah.
Thanks to Almighty God, Allah. Thanks to PPUM staff for their care and support during my wife’s labor and post-delivery. Thanks to friends and family who visited us despite their busy schedules, and wishes from all over the world.
This is totally new chapter and marked as the most important defining moment for me and my wife so far.
That priceless moment, when I witnessed the two loves of my life start getting to know each other all over again, thus makes my poor father’s heart just melted.
Aye. I’m a father now. I officially welcome myself to the club.
Song in my head at the moment:
En. Samad : “Mr. White, I do indeed come from Malaysia, but I cannot help it.”
Mr. White : “That, Sir, I find, is what a very great many of your countrymen cannot help.”
– Adapted from Boswell’s Life of Samuel Johnson
Will update the story later.

Republicanism is the ideology of governing a nation as a republic with an emphasis on liberty and the civic virtue practiced by citizens. Republicanism always stands in opposition to aristocracy, oligarchy, and dictatorship. More broadly, it refers to a political system that protects liberty, especially by incorporating a rule of law that cannot be arbitrarily ignored by the government. Winters: These men have been through the toughest training the Army has to offer, under the worst possible circumstances, and they volunteered for it.
Buck: Christ, Dick, I was just shooting craps with them.
Winters: You know why they volunteered? Because they knew that the man in the foxhole next to them would be the best. Not some draftee who’s going to get them killed.
Buck: Are you ticked because they like me? Because I’m spending time to get to know my soldiers. I mean, c’mon, you’ve been with them for two years? I’ve been here for six days.
Winters: You’re gambling, Buck.
Buck: So what? Soldiers do that. I don’t deserve a reprimand for it.
Winters: What if you’d won?
Winters: What if you’d won? Never put yourself in the position where you can take from these men.

There’s always a reason why things happen. There is a reason why you were born in the city you lived now. There’s a reason why you smile. There’s a reason why you keep breathing. There’s a reason why you can’t sleep at night. There’s a reason why you eat rice. There’s a reason why you love your parent. There’s a reason why you longing for an absent feelings. There’s a reason why you haven’t found the right one yet.
