His name is Adam

Yeah. My son named Adam. He was born on 1st December 2013 at 6:53AM. Despite having to wait 53 long dramatic hours due to some delivery complications that my wife has endured, everything has gone very smoothly and beautiful. Alhamdulillah.

Thanks to Almighty God, Allah. Thanks to PPUM staff for their care and support during my wife’s labor and post-delivery. Thanks to friends and family who visited us despite their busy schedules, and wishes from all over the world.

This is totally new chapter and marked as the most important defining moment for me and my wife so far.

That priceless moment, when I witnessed the two loves of my life start getting to know each other all over again, thus makes my poor father’s heart just melted.

Aye. I’m a father now. I officially welcome myself to the club.

Song in my head at the moment:

16 September 1963, Malaysia Day

16 September 1963, is a sacred date for the Federation of Malaysia in the formation of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore as one entity officially.

Originally proposed date of the Malaysia formation day held on June 1, 1963, before it fixed to August 31, in line with the celebration of Independence Day. Alas, there is too many issues has been raised from Indonesia and the Philippines (boundaries issues , etc),until it can only be realize on 16 September. What is Republicanism?

Republicanism is the ideology of governing a nation as a republic with an emphasis on liberty and the civic virtue practiced by citizens. Republicanism always stands in opposition to aristocracy, oligarchy, and dictatorship. More broadly, it refers to a political system that protects liberty, especially by incorporating a rule of law that cannot be arbitrarily ignored by the government. Alahai Tok Penghulu, Daulat Melayu

National Underground Code - Maju

Mana si tok penghulu,

katanya…
yang hebatnya hanya pada nama,
yang langsung tak ada pentingnya pada jiwa rakyat jelata,
orang susah, orang papa kedana…

mana si tok penghulu,
sibuk dengan urusan seri paduka baginda..
lagi…
canang sana sini daulat tuanku,
tapi orang susah yang banyak dekat bawah tu,
depa buat buat tak tau… Continue reading “Alahai Tok Penghulu, Daulat Melayu”

Winters: These men have been through the toughest training the Army has to offer, under the worst possible circumstances, and they volunteered for it.
Buck: Christ, Dick, I was just shooting craps with them.
Winters: You know why they volunteered? Because they knew that the man in the foxhole next to them would be the best. Not some draftee who’s going to get them killed.
Buck: Are you ticked because they like me? Because I’m spending time to get to know my soldiers. I mean, c’mon, you’ve been with them for two years? I’ve been here for six days.
Winters: You’re gambling, Buck.
Buck: So what? Soldiers do that. I don’t deserve a reprimand for it.
Winters: What if you’d won?
Buck: What?
Winters: What if you’d won? Never put yourself in the position where you can take from these men.

Stop making stupid mistakes, Ryanair not so bad after all

Ryanair Boeing 737-800 At Manchester International Airport (wikipedia)

I like to further my discussion with friend regards to his FB post about ‘Ryanair being the worst airline experience’ quoted from unmentioned site.

My take on this, labelling game is lame but something that I can kind of agree with, considering it’s not just a myth.

Worst airline experience? before continue that, one need to understand the very simple facts of buying rules: You’ll get what you pay for. Hence, don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed. If you can’t comprehend this simple facts properly, either you are not so adventurous type or simply stupid. Continue reading “Stop making stupid mistakes, Ryanair not so bad after all”

There’s always a reason why things happen. There is a reason why you were born in the city you lived now. There’s a reason why you smile. There’s a reason why you keep breathing.
