Called a night at friend’s resort in Samut Songkhram through long weary trip from Khorat. Very secluded, beautiful place but couldnt be tracked via GPS, or any digital maps.
In my friend’s absence, his younger brother aided us over the phone for a route, with local, third person (on my end) as intermediary. That third person, young lady with bike ended up escorting us for about 7km inward through darkest night, and asked nothing in return.
Beautiful people. Despite language barriers with barely few words exchanged, we still find ways to communicate messages and LR jokes. Land Rover language.
